We are pleased to be offering today this Victorian burl walnut gentleman’s lock side dresser that dates from the 1880s. It came into the shop and it was little on the dirty. So we brought it into the shop, scuffed it, stained it, sprayed a satin sheen lacquer and it is almost the original color. It has burl walnut panels, original hardware that we have buffed up and it is all set to go into the home. It is a side lock dresser that the lock has been taken out, which is common. It has hand cut dove tail drawers, carved columns with floral designs on the top of the post, wide bevel edge bracket base and a solid walnut top with a wide bevel edge. The overall size is 38 inches wide at the top, 22.5 inches deep and 58 inches high overall. It has tons of storage.
