SOLD Victorian Carved 6 Drawer Lock Side Gentleman’s Chest
We are pleased to be offering this solid black walnut Victorian carved walnut gentleman’s lock side chest dating from the 1880s era. It is all dove tail construction with circular key hole escutcheon covers which is unusual for this style dresser. Someone has replaced the hardware with Chippendale hardware, which doesn’t’ look to bad. It originally had a backsplash which is missing. The overall size is 38 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 61 inches high. It is getting tough to find lock sides, especially the 6 drawer model. It has a beautiful carved top on the front. The overall condition is good. It does not have the key. Shipping starts at $345 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
