We are pleased to be offering one of the most unusual tiger sawn oak turn of the century 1900's rockers that we have had in our career. We have probably sold 5,000 rocking chairs in the past 45 years, but not one like this. It is so unique that I almost kept it. It has a large rolled oversize seat with big bold heavy turn posts, cross stretcher in solid oak, big fat rockers, big fat posts that carries up to the curved star shaped medallion back and applied incise carving on the shapely center splat. The amazing thing about this chair is the size and thickness. It is still stylish even being so bold. The overall size is 29 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 21 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 21 inches deep, 42 inches on the natural resting position of the chair. If you are a large person and are looking for a rocker than this is perfect. It has a gorgeous dark oak original patina. The condition is wonderful.
