SOLD Oak Cowboy’s Desk – Very Rare

We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful unusual slant top desk that was always referred to as the cowboy desk in the trade. We used to get these occasionally back in the day, but you never see them anymore. We were fortunate to find this one. This one has wonderful stamp inside on the drawers that says from the Adams Company out of Lowell, Massachusetts back in the 1890s. It is in the original untouched finish other than just a polish. The pictures will tell you all about it as it is fancy. All the beadings and carvings appear to be in place. It has a fancy curved top, fluted posts to hold up the shelf support with a mirror in the background, double doors with a dove tail center drawer, flip down lid to reveal a cubby hole interior, two dove tail drawers and then the fancy cut out stick and ball. As I look at it more and more I see a small section of beading on the edge that is missing, but I believe we can repair it prior to shipping. The overall size is 31 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 68 inches high. The brass is all intact. It is all original.
