SOLD DIMINUTIVE CARVED OAK SERVER IN THE STYLE OF R.J. HORNER
A DIMINUTIVE CARVED OAK SERVER IN THE STYLE OF R.J. HORNER & CO. NEW YORK. Late 19th century. The case of high-quality quarter sawn oak. The rectangular top with molded edge and splash guard finely carved with scrolling leaf tips above a single long drawer carved with leaf tips in deep relief raised on acanthus carved columns with Ionic capitals joined to an open display shelf above a single drawer with carved handles. The whole raised on bold carved paw feet. SIZE: 39 ½” h overall. Work surface 33 ½” h x 44” w x 20” d. Shelf 41” w x 19” d. CONDITION: Cleaned and repolished surfaces. Very good overall, normal nicks and dings. No damage or restoration noted. Shipping in the New England states will be $285.00 and outside New England please email your zip code for an accurate quote.
