SOLD Antique Victorian Carved Fruit 3pc Bedroom Set – Outstanding Condition

We are pleased to be offering today this original finish condition early Victorian three-piece bedroom set dating from the 1875's in unbelievable condition! The set consists of a somewhat full-size bed, detail high backsplash wash stand/commode and a four drawer carved pull dresser with a swivel carved mirror. The unusual thing about this set is that it is solid wood tops versus marble. The condition is mind boggling how well maintained it is from the 1870s. It came out of a local home in Maine. The overall size of the bed is 74 inches high on the headboard, 56 inches wide on the outside, 39 inches high on the footboard. The footboard is curved. The inside dimensions for mattress purposes is 74 inches long and 53.5 inches wide. A modern day box spring and mattress should be able to fit in tightly. The washstand/commode is 41 inches tall with the candle shelf backsplash, 32 inches wide and 20 inches deep. It is a beautiful piece with race track molding, panel doors and minor finish wear on the top of the backsplash which we will correct prior to shipping. Last but not least is the four drawer dresser with the swivel mirror, ditty boxes, carved crest, racetrack dove tail drawers, moldings are intact, and ogee bevel edge round corner top. The size is 41 inches wide and 20 inches deep and the height of the base is 38 inches and to the top of the fancy mirror is approximately 75 inches. You are getting all three pieces for one money.
