SOLD Victorian Oak Heavy Carved Bedroom Set

We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful two piece original heavily carved high quality turn of the century 1890 to 1900s solid tiger sawn two piece bedroom set in original condition.  Right down to the original fancy brass hardware, swivel hooks on the oversize bevel glass mirror and even the original side rails; this bed set is stunning.  The bed has a dome shape, very wide bevel raised panel motif in the footboard and headboard with carving in detail all the way around the circumference.  It has applied carvings. It is finished in the dark oak stain finish showing minor flaws here and there.  The finish is 90%.  If you would like to have a brand new finish, please contact us and we can quote you on the refinishing.  The unbelievable dresser with a three over 1 drawer base is 48 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 21 inches high.  The height to the top of the swivel mirror is 76 inches.  Just to give you an idea of how big the mirror is, the mirror itself is 33 inches wide by 41 inches tall.  It has the same type of carving across the crest.  It has a 1 inch bevel glass exposed mirror is original and in nice condition.  It is really a fantastic dresser.  The bed is breath taking.  The outside dimensions are 63 inches wide, 39 inches high on the footboard and 71 inches high on the headboard.  The inside dimensions for mattress purposes is 56 inches wide by 74 inches long.  It should take a modern day full size box spring and mattress.
