We are pleased to be offering today this period flame mahogany empire usual size table which we are calling a pub table or a dinette table that would easily have four chairs go around it. It is in the old finish with minor chips of veneer off on the edges. Look at the flame mahogany that has been used in this table. The tabletop has a big burl int eh center with some voids that could use some wood filler and if you remind us at the time of the sale, we will be happy to detail it out for you. The table is outstanding due to the selection of flame mahogany veneer used. The table dates from the 1850s. The table is 34 inches square and 29 inches tall. It will easily accommodate four chairs. It is in a light reddish-brown finish that appears to be original. The square top sits on an ogee molded skirted frame that rests upon a tapered four-sided post that goes into an ogee platform base that has castors underneath. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
