 We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful period empire pre-civil war flip top card table / game table that dates from the 1850s era in complete refinished condition.  We have taken this gorgeous table and brought into our restoration shop.  We have stripped, refinished and repaired this gorgeous mahogany ball foot game table.  It is a great looking game table that is three pieces of furniture in one.  You can make it a demi lune table when its closed up to put behind a sofa, next to a sofa, up against the wall, use it an end table or pretty much any place you would put a stand.  You can also take the top and flip it up to make it a great display piece for a vase or a leaded lamp.   The third option is to use it for what it is designed for;  slide the top pull out your cards and open it into a square card table.  These are also used as a dining table in an efficiency or studio apartment.  These table truly has endless possibilities.  It has been refinished in a beautiful reddish brown stain finish.  It has the typical Empire pillar post that tapers up with a molded bottom and a platform base with ball feet.  The overall size is 34 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 29 inches high.  When the table top is opened it is 34 inches square.  The table has been completely refinished to show the grains used.  The majority of the table is solid wood, which is unusual.  The only veneer is on the skirt and I believe on the  platform flat part.  It will cost $165 to have this table shipped within our normal shipping area.  Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are within our normal area.  We also ship to all points of Canada, but please contact us prior to purchase to obtain a quote for your specific locale.
