SOLD Antique Armchair, Antique Rosewood Victorian Carved Gentleman's Arm Chair
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful rosewood Victorian civil war era hand carved floral crest open arm chair in the gentleman's style dating from the 1870s. It is a beautiful chair that has gorgeous fabric. It got dirty when the trucking company picked it up and brought it to us from the house. I am not sure if you can clean the fabric up, but I think you could. The fabric has no rips or tears. It is a great looking chair with a hand carved crest in the back all rosewood with a rosewood frame. It has a flared back leg, carved knuckle front leg that turns into a cabriole leg and a serpentine front skirt. The overall size is 27 inches wide across the outside of the arms, 21 inches on the inside of the arms, 21 inches deep, 46 inches high to the back, 23 inches high to the arm and 17 inches high to the arm.
