SOLD Antique Armchair, Antique Carved with Flowers Gentleman's Arm Chair Rosewood
We are pleased to be offering today this stylish rosewood gentleman's open arm chair that dates from the civil war era of the 1860s to 1870s. It has hand carved floral design across the oval design medallion back, carved back supports, carved arms and look at the front. It has floral grapes and berries incorporated into the rosewood frame. The fabric is dirty from transportation. I think the fabric will clean out. The finish is all original on the chair frame. We did get a similar chair from the same estate if you are interested. The overall size is 24 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 19 inches wide on the inside of that arms, 21 inches deep, 43 inches high to the chair back, 23 inches high to the arm and 17 inches high to the seat. It is a great chair with the original castors on the front. It is all tight and sturdy with no breaks. Shipping starts at $275 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
