We’re pleased to offer this Victorian solid black walnut gentleman’s arm chair that dates from the 1870s or ‘80s. Someone has recently reupholstered it in a gorgeous silver beige silk-style brocade fabric, which is really stunning against the original patina of the dark walnut frame. It has a barrel front, carved knuckles on the open arms that go into a medallion finger carved back, and cabriole legs in front that retain their original casters. Someone repaired an arm a while back, which is normal on a chair like this, and it is now all tight and sturdy. The overall size is 26 inches on the outside of the arms, 24 inches deep, and 43 inches high to the back. It’s a great looking chair at a reasonable price.
