SOLD Antique Victorian Needlepoint Gentleman’s Arm Chair
This is a needlepoint Victorian style gentleman’s arm chair that probably dates from the 1920s, in solid mahogany. It has an open pierce carved crest, a beautiful antique style needlepoint fabric on the back, the arm rest and the seat, and dark brown reddish color on the solid wood frame. It has cabriole legs, a carved floral serpentine skirt, carved knuckles, a wonderful medallion round back, and a lovely floral crest on top. The fabric is slightly faded, but highly usable with no rips or tears. The overall size is 25 inches across, 22 inches deep, 42 inches to the top of the carved crest, 21 inches to the arm, and 16 inches high to the seat.
