These antique upholstered arm chairs are a wonderful matched pair of Victorian solid black walnut carved armchairs dating from the 1880s. These antique upholstered arm chairs came right out of a home on the east coast. The fabric was replaced later in their life and is in good condition, even though it could use a light cleaning. The frames are finger carved solid black walnut, with a wraparound balloon back, carved scroll forearms, cabriole serpentine skirts on the seats and cabriole legs. The overall size is 27 inches wide across the seat, 29 inches wide across the arms, 24 inches deep, 17 inches high to the seat, 24 inches high to the arms, and 41 inches high to the chair back. These are a large pair of matching chairs. You are getting both chairs for one money. These would have brought twice as much as few years ago, so snag them while the market is so friendly for buyers.
