The cabinet features a classic two-piece step back design with an upper glass door bookcase section resting above a heavily carved lower cupboard base. The upper section includes large glass display doors with burl walnut trim accents, multiple adjustable shelves, and a bold crown molded top. The lower base features two drawers over two cabinet doors with outstanding applied hand-carved motifs and decorative original hardware.

Fine Victorian craftsmanship is visible throughout, including hand-carved detail drawer pulls, carved appliqués, molded crown work, and richly figured walnut grain. The large amount of shelving and storage space makes this piece both highly decorative and extremely practical for use as a bookcase, china cabinet, or display cupboard.

Overall wonderful original antique condition with excellent color and patina. The cabinet remains solid, sturdy, and highly usable with normal age-appropriate wear consistent with antique furniture of this age.

There is one short section of molding missing on the front of the right-side base cabinet door. This area will be professionally detailed prior to shipping.

The cabinet separates into two pieces for easier transport and installation.
