SOLD Vintage Set of 6 Duncan Phyfe Empire Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of 6 matching Duncan Phyfe or third period empire mahogany stained dining chairs that date from the 1940s. It is a great looking set of six that has one arm chair and five side chairs. They come with a wine color crush velour upholstered seat that goes great against the brownish red stained chair. The chairs are fairly tight and sturdy. They haven’t been polished or cleaned and with a coat of Howard’s they would look awesome. The overall size of the arm chair is 22 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 36 inches high and 18 inches high to the seat. It is a great looking arm chair with a cutout curved splat, curved back and scrolled arms that have a fancy arm support. They have saber style front legs and a flared back leg. The other five chairs, which are side chairs are 18 inches wide by 15 inches deep and 33 inches high with the seat being 18 inches. It is a great set that came out of a local home.
