We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of 6 refinished Duncan Phyfe Hepplewhite dining Chairs that are a little bit better than average dating from the 1940’s. Look at the shields in the back to see how they are all carved, multiple finger splats and the triple round corner top. The set consists of five side chairs and one arm chair. They were reupholstered a while back in a nice tan color fabric which appears to be clean and useable with no rips or tears. The seats could easily be reupholstered if the buyer would like the fabric replaced. The arm chair has scooped out arms, carved knuckles, tapered Hepplewhite carved legs, serpentine skirts and a shapely back. The arm chair is 22 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 39 inches high to the back, 27 inches high to the seat and 20 inches high to the seat. The size chairs are 19 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 39 inches to the back and 19.5 inches high to the seat. You are getting all six for one money. They are in the dark reddish brown stain finish that has been hand rubbed to keep some of the character marks. The chairs are all tight and sturdy for years of carefree use.
