We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful carved slipper or boudoir chair that dates from the 1870s in unbelievable original condition. It doesn’t appear to have any breaks. It does have a couple of lamination seams, but the daintiest of this chair has survived the 150 years it has been around. It has hand carved berry and nut carved crest on back, dainty little turn finials with a wonderful turn posts, awesome cut out fretwork back that has a small lamination seam and someone put the flame stitch that was popular in the 1980s and it is in wonderful shape. The chair has a dark walnut patina. The overall size is 20 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 43 inches high to the back and 16.5 inches high to the seat. It is a great looking chair.
