We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful American burl walnut and solid black walnut Victorian hand carved ladies chair that dates from the 1880s era. It is truly renaissance as it goes from the Victorian to the Eastlake era. It has burl walnut raised panel on the carved crest, curved skirt, fluted groove legs and applied hand carved solid black walnut crest. Someone paid a lot of money to reupholster this chair with a beautiful beige fabric with multi-colored rose and beige gimp. It has a couple of small stains on the edges that I think would clean out. The chair is nice and sturdy. The fabric is beautiful against the patina. The overall size is 18 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep, 39 inches high to the top of the carved crest and 19.5 inches high to the seat. It is a great chair that could go into any room for extra seating. Shipping starts at $65 if you are in our normal area and will increase in costs if not. This estimate is for the East coast.
