We are pleased to be offering today this little boudoir chair that comes from the Victorian era in the dark and grungy finish from the 1880’s era. It has wonderful hand carved open top crest with a figure of a ladies face and head carved into the circular medallion. The chair has been reupholstered years ago in a wonderful Victorian floral style fabric. It has a round seat with a fat cushion seat, carved rosettes on all four corners of the post, multi-turn spindle legs, circular seat frame and incise carved hip huggers. The chair is in nice original condition. It really needs a lot of elbow grease to clean up the finish. The front two legs where the seams come together it has had some issues where the legs caused the seams to come about a bit and we will detail it out before shipping. Otherwise it is in untouched condition. The overall size is 21 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 39 inches high to the carved crest and 18 inches high to the seat. It is a great ladies desk chair, telephone chair or boudoir chair. Shipping starts at $85 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
