We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful Victorian walnut raised panel flat top desk that dates from the 1890’s. We brought it into the shop and sanded it down because the finish was worn and re-stained it and applied lacquer. The black leather top is original with some wear marks as seen in the photos, but is very usable. We have made sure the desk is tight and sturdy. It has a raised panel set of drawers with one drawer on the left being a file cabinet drawer. The right hand bank has four raised panel drawers and the center drawer. The face side of the desk has a door that opens up for a file cupboard which is unique. The desk is 30 inches deep, 31 inches high and 54 inches wide. It is finished in a medium walnut stain. The desk shows nicks and dings here and there. It has two pull out writing surfaces that have the original felt lining. Shipping starts at $365 if you are in our normal area.
