SOLD Antique Victorian Oak Raised Panel Flat Top Desk – 66”
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful tiger sawn oak Victorian age flat top desk with carved handle pulls that dates from the 1890’s in previously refinished condition. It is quite a desk being 66 inches wide. It has a multi-coat satin sheen lacquer finish against a dark oak stain. You can see where the center of the desk has been repaired and a bottom trim piece has been replaced under the center drawer, which is common. It has hand carved handles, four drawers going down one column and the other column has two drawers and a file cabinet drawer that is a simulated two drawer. It has a round corner model top, raised panels all the way around and a modesty panel. The desk is 66 inches wide, 36 inches deep and 31 inches high to the writing surface. The space for your legs is 27 inches wide by 25.5 inches tall. The desk has been sprayed inside and out. The drawer bottoms are all good and they slide well. There are pull out writing surfaces on both columns. This desk does come apart for ease of moving. Shipping starts at $395 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
