This gorgeous Civil War–era Victorian marble top dresser dates from the 1860s and is loaded with elegant details and classic charm.

Crafted in solid walnut, this dresser features:

Carved crown molding with burl walnut panels

Hand-carved crest and applied carvings on the mirror

Swivel, adjustable mirror with candle shelves on either side

Diddy boxes on the top to hide all your precious treasures

3 large drawers + (shhh...) a hidden 4th drawer in the base!

Elegant carved columns on both the upper and lower sections

Original hand-carved pulls

White marble top with lovely 45-degree angles that follows the lines of the diddy boxes

The mirror sits on top of the marble and can be angled as needed. Below it, the dresser provides plenty of usable storage and display space. The marble top has only minor surface scratches, and the overall finish is in original condition, with only the normal nicks and dings that come with age, and features the original shipping label on it that says Northampton, MA with original name of the original customer on the back

Dimensions:

Overall: 48” W x 23” D x 94” H

Base height (floor to marble): 34”

This is a true Victorian-era gem, perfect for anyone looking to add historical character to a bedroom or hallway. We’ve sold a lot of these in our 55+ years in business, and this one is a standout.
