We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful civil war era Victorian black walnut raised panel burl hand carved marble top dresser that dates from the 1860s era. It came out of a home in northern Maine. It has three dove tail drawers with a secret drawer cleverly disguised in the baseboard. It has an ogee bevel edge round corner top. On top sits two ditty boxes, candle shelves and a dome top swivel mirror. It appears to have the old original finish. The overall size is 45 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 35 inches high to the dresser base. The overall height is 84 inches to the top of the hand carved crest on the swivel mirror. It has a great look with panel sides, picture frame moldings, round medallion center, hand carved handles and keyhole escutcheons.
