We are pleased to be offering today another fantastic piece of Victorian furniture that came out of this estate in Maine.  It is a dog head burl walnut raised panel multi turn finial double carved open crest bevel edge shapely marble solid walnut full length mirror six shelf étagère in pristine condition.  The only thing we have done is dust off the dirt.  All it needs is a good polish to make it glisten.  It dates from the 1860s to 1870s era and is in the wonderful original condition.  The overall size is 48 inches wide, 15.5 inches deep at the base and 95 inches high which allows it to fit in a modern home.  The height of the marble shelf is 10.5 inches.  It has a dog head carved on the front of the drawer.  When you open the burl walnut carved drawer, there is an old red Victorian age label that says it came from the Paine Furniture Company, which makes sense looking at the high quality of this étagère.  It has six graduated sized shapely walnut wooden shelves with three on each side.  It  also has side mirrors above the two bottom shelves.  Wonderful cut out shelf supports, burl walnut panels all over with rosettes, turn finials on top, a double walnut hand carved crest and a crown molded top.  It doesn't get any better than this.  there are a few  small stains on the marble that I believe would come out.  This wonderful item is coming out of a wonderful estate and all we did was wipe the dust off and took the pictures outside.  If you would like us to do anything to the piece such as a super polish, try to clean the marble or anything else than please contact us to discuss.  Shipping will start at $299 for our normal delivery area.  Please contact us to discuss shipping options as shipping is based on delivery area and type of service desired.   We will be listing more items from this large estate over the next three weeks, so please bookmark our site so that you do not miss any of this GREAT Victorian era furniture.
