SOLD Victorian Carved Beautiful Burl Walnut Tufted Loveseat
We are pleased to be offering today one of the prettiest and stunning Victorian burl walnut carved open arm loveseat that we have had in a long time. It has a beautiful tufted wine color crush velour fabric all with buttons and pleats that is in good condition. It is a little dusty, but we will vacuum it off. The sofa frame itself is in outstanding condition. This sofa dating from the 1880's came out of an east coast estate and the man had some beautiful merchandise in great condition. This particular sofa has burl walnut incise panels all over the place: the curved wrap around back, across the skirt, the arms and the carved crest. Look at the carved vase urn in the center of the carved crest. If you had this reupholstered in a similar fabric and style it would likely cost over $2000.00. I am going to guess it was reupholstered in the last 10 years. We are selling this for much less. The overall size is 72 inches wide, 26 inches deep, 49 inches high to the back and 18 inches high to the seat. Shipping starts at $425 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
