SOLD Set of Four Period Empire Chairs - Civil War Era
We are pleased to be offering today this set of four period pre-civil war flame mahogany empire dining chairs dating from the 1850s era. It is a great set of four. Someone has put striped seats on three of the chairs and the fourth has an antique crush velour diamond point fabric. These chairs are easily recovered, so the buyer can change the fabric at will. The chairs have the rolled pillar top and they are all period from the 1850s. One of the chairs has a repair that was done well and you can hardly tell. They have saber style front legs and flared back legs. They have the normal nicks and dings, but overall they are tight and sturdy. The overall size is 18 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 34 inches high to the chair back and 18 inches high to the seat. You are getting all four for one money.
