We are pleased to be offering today this period pre-civil war, oversize flame mahogany Empire hanging wall mirror that is larger than normal. It is all original. It has the dark reddish brown stain finish. It dates from the 1850s to 1860s. It has the original ultra thin mirror glass that is totally worn out and has such a nice patina. I wouldn’t touch it even though it is cloudy and the silver is fading. The overall size of the mirror is 25 inches wide by 36 inches long. It is large enough to put over a sideboard in the dining room. It is a great piece with the multi-molded flame mahogany veneer with no chips in it.
