SOLD Set of 7 Empire Needlepoint Dining Chairs

We are pleased to be offering today this set of 7 mahogany empire scroll post and foot dining chairs that date from the 1920s in wonderful condition.  It is a great looking set in a dark reddish brown stain finish.  They have a flared back leg, shapely cut out center splat, curved design, empire scroll leg with jelly style foot, solid H mahogany stretcher holds the four legs together and the back even has an extra stretcher.  Each chair has a needlepoint seat that is a completely different color.  Most of the seats have floral designs and one has a bird feeding its’ babies in a nest on a tree branch.  The chairs are in really good condition.  You can see an early repair on the arm chair where the splat goes up, which is common and it is one or two of the side chairs.  It is a great set of mahogany chairs in a dark reddish brown stain finish.  The overall size of the side chairs are 18 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 38 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat.  The arm chair is 23 inches wide across the arms, 20 inches wide across the front of the seat, 18 inches deep, almost 40 inches high, 20 inches high to the seat and 27 inches high to the seat.  They have a fantastic look.  You are getting the six side chairs and one arm chair all for one money.  Shipping estimates starts at $295.00-$325.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
