We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful matching set of 7 empire style Duncan phyfe period like dining chairs that dates from the 1940s to 1950s. These were likely made by Drexel or one of those better companies. This set consists of two master arm chairs and five side chairs. They have a fantastic look in the original brown reddish stain finish with an antique green crush velour style cushion on top. The fabric is in good condition with a few little water spots. The fabric on these chairs are easy to replace to match your décor. The chairs have saber style front legs, flared back legs and cut out center splats. Everything is beautiful mahogany. The master chairs have beautiful reverse curve arms. I wish these were period as it would double the price on the set, but these are reasonably priced for their age. The overall size of the arm chairs are 21 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 33.5 inches tall to the chair back, 26 inches high to the arm and 19 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 19.5 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 33 inches high to the chair back and 18 inches high to the seat. You are getting all seven for one money. These chairs are all nice and tight. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
