This set of antique dining room chairs includes 6 side chairs and an arm chair, and are what some people call third-period Empire style and some call Duncan Phyfe style. I just call them a great set of dining room chairs! This set of antique dining chairs feature a saber style front leg, flared single back leg, carved cross rail that goes across the back and in the center of each chair is a press cane seat back. The seats are done in green upholstery that have some spots, but the seats easily pop off for reupholstering, and can easily be replaced. These antique chairs date from the 1950s, and are in good shape with minor nicks and dings here and there. The armchair has some finish worn off where the hands rest from sitting on the arms. The overall size of the armchair is 21 inches across, 19 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat and 35 inches high to the chair back. The side chairs are 18 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 17 inches high to the seat and 35 inches high to the chair back. They are a great looking set of chairs. You are getting all seven for one money.
