SOLD Antique Dining Room Chairs, Set of 7 Mahogany Chippendale Dining Chairs
This beautiful set of antique dining room chairs features a total of 7 solid mahogany chairs in the Chippendale style. Dating from the 1890s in wonderful original condition, this set of antique dining room chairs consists of six side chairs and one master armchair. They have ball and claw cabriole legs, solid mahogany construction including the center splat, Chippendale style crest rail, flared routed edge back leg and the chair seat skirt is solid mahogany. One chair has slight fading as it must have been sitting next to a window. The chairs have been reupholstered by the previous owner in a reddish color fabric that complements the reddish-brown stain finish. They are easy to reupholster, if you desire, as the seats are easily removed to staples new fabric on and screw back in. The armchair is 23 inches wide across the seat, 20 inches deep, 29 inches wide across the arms, 20 inches high to the seat, 28 inches high to the arm and 41 inches high to the chair back. The side chairs are 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 20 inches high to the seat and 40 inches high to the crest rail. The set of 7 are all tight, sturdy and in the original finish.
