We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful period Empire flame mahogany needlepoint seat ladies chair that dates from the 1850s. It is in a light brown mahogany stain. Most likely this chair was refinished around the 1920s when the needlepoint was redone. The chair has serpentine front skirt, saber style front legs, flared back legs and a needlepoint seat. The overall size is 17.5 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep, 19 inches high to the seat and 33 inches high to the back. It is a great ladies chair or telephone chair.
