We are pleased to be offering today this set of 6 deep dish oak dining chairs that date from the 1900s era. It is a great looking set of six. The lady I bought these from said that they came out of Arizona and her mother refinished them back 30 years ago. They are deep dish pressback with 7 multi-turn spindles going across the back with shapely cut out splats and a one piece flared back leg. They have a solid turn front legs that are joined together with tapered oak cross stretchers. They have a real thick cushion seat that has been applied and can easily be changed. One cushion has a worn spot in the corner, but is still usable. There is some chippage on a couple of the backs were they have been used a little bit, but they aren’t bad with normal wear marks. They are 17 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 38 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the top of the 1” thick cushion. They are great chairs. There is 1 front turn spindle missing. If you would like it replaced, we can quote you at the time of the sale. You are getting all six chairs for one money.
