SOLD Antique Set of 4 Oak Victorian Pressback Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of 4 matching 100% oak pressback dining chairs that date from the early 1900s. They are in the old original finish and are ready for a refinishing jobs. They are a nice set of chairs with a bulbous reeded turn flared back leg that comes up to a post joins together a wonderful pressback design with multi-turn spindles underneath and another pressback design below the spindles. Press cane seats means that cost to replace them is minimal compared to a lace cane seat. They have the skirted trim pieces underneath the curved front solid oak seats. There are multi-turn spindles on the cross stretchers and base. Other than a strip and refinish, these chairs are in nice shape in all solid oak. The overall size is 18 inches across the seat, 17 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat and 42 inches high to the top of the post. You are getting all four for one money. These would be shipped via Greyhound delivery for $185 to the continental USA.
