SOLD Set of 6 Oak Heavily Carved Dining Chairs

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of 6 solid oak heavily carved dining room chairs that consists of four oversize side chairs and two oversize arm chairs that are heavily carved and professionally restored and refinished.  We have gone over this set of chairs to re-glue, sand, stain and applied multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer to achieve this beautiful finish product.  The chairs date from the early 1900s.  They are all carved  with a floral arrangement across an arch top crest that is open with a ¾ moon design.  It has a bottom horizontal bottom slat with the same design.  The posts are cut out and fancy with applied turn pillars.  The front of the seats are all incise carved, the arms are all carved, the legs are block and turn and they are in the Jacobean style.  They are finished in a dark oak stain.  The seats are picture frame around.  They likely had a padded cushion seat inserted back in the day.  These would look fantastic in an  ox blood leather or something similar.  The overall size of the arm chairs are 24 inches across the arm, 20 inches deep from the front to the back, 42 inches high to the chair back, 27 inches high to the arm and 18 inches high to the seat.  The side chairs are 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high to the back and 17 inches high to the seat.  It is a great set of 6.  You are getting all for one money.  Shipping estimates starts at $295.00-$325.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
