SOLD Set of 6 Heavily Carved Upholstered Oak Dining Chairs

We are pleased to be offering today this set of tiger sawn oak turn of the century dining chairs that in my over 50 years in the antique set, I have never seen this particular model.  I am simply overwhelmed by the style of this rare and unusual set.   It was refinished years ago by the previous owner.  We also bought a beautiful tiger sawn oak rope legged table that is on another listing if you are looking for a dining set.  This set consists of two arm chairs and four side chairs.  Whoever upholstered these chairs had great taste as they picked a fabric that matches perfectly with the patina on these solid tiger sawn oak chairs.  It has oversize knuckle arm chairs, cabriole legs, detail claw foot and solid H oak cross stretcher that supports the base and adds style.  Even the front trim piece is all shapely.  The backs are just WOW!  I can’t believe they haven’t been damaged as they are so stylish.  They have a large open hole on the top with deep dish carvings on each side. They have a fan shape vase type center splat with a carved bottom slat holding up the fan.  The seats are upholstered expensively with springs in the seats.  The finish shows minor wear here and there, but nothing that I would consider refinishing.  The overall size of the arm chairs are 26 inches across the arms, 21 inches wide across the seat, 20 inches deep, 42 inches high to the chair back, 27 inches high to the arms and 19 inches high to the seat.  The side chairs are 18.5 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 40 inches tall and 19 inches high to the seat.  It is a beautiful set of 6.  Other than minor nicks and dings, they are in outstanding condition.  You are getting all six chairs for one money.  Shipping estimates starts at $325.00-$365.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
