SOLD Set of 3 Heavily Carved Oak Office Chairs – Unbelievable

We are pleased to be offering today right out of a mansion in Vermont where we purchased an estate of furniture, this office ensemble of three chairs that go with a  high quality carved library table.  We are selling the chairs separately from the table, but will include the link to the library table below, in case it is still available and you would like to purchase as a set.

These chairs are heavy, massive, and carved all over, including the back of the chairs, which are heavily carved also.  The chairs are heavily carved all the way around.  They have green leather on them.  The original owners reportedly paid around $9,000.00 for the complete office set, and I believe it as these are heavy(a sure sign of quality) and the detail is outstanding. They are not terribly old and only date from the 1970s to 1980s, are stout and sturdy, and carved on the skirts, fronts, backs, posts and legs. I bet you can tell I think these is a truly wonderful Oak Office set. 

The overall size of the smaller chairs are  24 inches across the arms, 20 inches between the arms, 20 inches deep on the seat, 49 inches high overall, 27 inches high to the arms and 20 inches high to the seat.  The seats are well cushioned for comfort, and might remind you of a Jacobean set.

They are truly great quality, and are just not going to come apart or fall over as they are extremely heavy oak. The master chair is 27 inches across the outside of the arms, 22 inches on the inside of the arms, 20 inches deep, 55 inches high to the chair back, 31 inches high to the arm and 22 inches high to the seat.  Take time to look at the pictures as these are carved everywhere. The arms are 2.75 inches thick.  Look at the excessive carving and the carved crest on top. 
I'm really impressed by the custom carved backs, which is really not typical. The green leather seats match the leather on the flat top desk found here:
