We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful period flame mahogany Empire sleigh bed that dates from the 1840s to 1860s era in beautiful condition. It has ribbon molding on top of the panels and on the footboard. It has the typical sleigh design. It has a beautiful selection of flame mahogany on the panels and on the posts. This gorgeous bed has been professionally worked on so that it takes a full size modern day box spring and mattress. The inside dimensions for mattress purposes is 55 inches wide by 76 inches long with an additional extra space on the headboard and footboard to make up your bed. The outside dimensions are 58 inches wide, 55 inches high on the headboard and 41 inches high on the footboard. The bed comes with the slats to hold the box spring. The bed is in the dark reddish brown mahogany stain finish that is beautiful. Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
