We are pleased to be offering today this extraordinary example of a outstanding neo-classical chandelier dates from the late 19th century. It is surmounted by three cherubs. Each are methodical figures with back swept winged arms above a scroll lower body supported by stylized figures of dolphins above drapery swags. Lower portion of chandelier has S scroll supports continue into a cast base rim to which is mounted an inverted dome shade. At the base of each support at the juncture rim are three foliate scroll candle arms (9 in total). This is an exceptional example in great proportions with great detail and castings. The overall size is 25 inches in diameter and 37 inches high. The shade on this lamp is a reproduction. It is not the original, it is a replacement.
