We are pleased to be offering today this custom tiger sawn oak sideboard in the Hepplewhite style dating from the 1910 era in what appears to be absolutely mint condition. I hate to use absolutely mint as a condition factor because people are very fussy and will find tiny nicks and dings, which I am sure this has, but this is as close to being perfect as I have had in a long time on a piece of oak. Look at the photos to see how stunning this piece is. It has a large top drawer that appears to be three drawers but it only one and goes from left to right of the entire piece. Below that are two center drawers, one of which has a sliding silverware tray. Then it has curved front doors that come with the original lock. The hardware and finish is all original. We got this out of a home on the east coast along with a dining table and a set of chairs, all of which are Paine and great quality. The sideboard is in a medium oak stain finish. The back, where the backsplash attaches, used to have hardware that fit inside that is missing and someone has taken two small straps to hold it on, which is very normal for oak furniture. The sideboard itself is just gorgeous with little marks here and there, but it is in unbelievable condition for the age. The overall size is 66 inches wide, 24 inches deep, 38.5 inches high to the top of the cabinet, and 44 inches high to the top of the backsplash from the floor. If you are looking for turn of the century oak in outstanding condition, then this is for you. Paine only handled the high-quality heavy-duty furniture of style. This sideboard comes with a key, which is unusual. Shipping starts at $395 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
