We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful solid tiger sawn oak carved sideboard from the 1890’s. It is an extra-large high quality carved sideboard in a dark oak stunning original finish.
The sideboard is a heavy-duty piece of workmanship. It has carving on the rolled front drawers on top of the large drawer, carving between the two raised panel doors, carved posts coming down and the backsplash is a piece of art itself. It retains the original hardware. It has oak secondary wood. I believe this would have to be made by a company like Paine, but I do not see any markings anywhere. The overall size is 66 inches wide, 25 inches deep, 37 inches high to the base and 49 inches high to the backsplash. It has multi-moldings along the rectangular top, triple raised panels and carved panels on the backsplash, extra thick tiger sawn oak top with beautiful graining and big bold panels sides.
