SOLD Oak Winged Griffin Mirror Sideboard w/ Lion Heads & Claw Feet Horner Style
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful tiger sawn oak turn of the century, early 1900’s, carved lion winged griffin bevel glass mirror back sideboard that has lion heads on the base and wonderful detail claw feet. It has three dove tail drawers on the base cabinet with two doors underneath to offer tons of storage and even has an oversize bottom drawer. It has a wonderful tiger sawn grain throughout. The bevel glass mirror is in good shape showing minor wear spots. The mirror is held up with the top shelf by two detail winged griffin lion bodies. The base has carving with a north wind or lion head on each post that goes down into a cabriole claw foot leg. It has the original wooden knobs and dark oak stain finish. The overall size is 48 inches wide across the base, 23 inches deep, 38 inches high to the base and the overall height is 56 inches. The winged griffins are 15 inches tall. It is a good looking piece in the original dark oak stain finish. I am not sure if it is Horner, but it is definitely Horner style.
