We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful lion head oak multi-spindle reclining back Morris chair that dates from the early 1900’s in wonderful condition. It was refinished quite a while back and it appears they put new fabric on the heavy cushions that are very comfortable. This is the style of Morris chair that also has the spring floor on the base seat. It dates from the turn of the century and this is one of the higher quality Morris chairs with the claw feet, lion heads, wings on the sides and carvings. IT has seven dainty spindles on each arm for support and style. The cushions are removable. The back lays down in four different options. The overall size is 27 inches wide, 31 inches deep, 42 inches high to the adjustable back, 25 inches high to the arm and 19 inches high to the thick cushion seat. The finish is slightly worn. It is all tight and sturdy. It comes with the original castors. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
