We are pleased to be offering today this original finish antique tiger sawn oak lawyers four drawer file cabinet that dates from the 1890’s to 1900’s in original condition. This one has all the hardware on the front: the threaded rods, index card holders and handles. The drawer sliders seem to work fairly well, which is unusual. They have the retention door in the back of the doors that you slide forward on the rods to keep your files upright and tight. There is an early repair on a drawer where it was chipped and it was repaired. It is in the dark oak stain finish. It is finished all the way around so you can leave it out in the middle of the room. There was a piece of top board missing about 1/16th of an each thick and 2 inches wide which we glued a piece on an colored it. It has original panel sides. It is in really nice shape for the age. The overall size is 15 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 52 inches high. The inside drawers are 10 inches high and 11.75 inches wide. They are a standard size drawer. It is a good old original 120 year old cabinet. It would look fantastic refinished as the tiger sawn oak would jump right out. Please contact us for a quote if you desire refinishing.
