We are pleased to be offering today this oak original finish four drawer standard size file cabinet that dates from the early 1900s in original condition. It comes with the original brass handle and index card holders. The bottom drawer has the index card holder missing. If you remind us at the time of sale, we can put one on for you. The original handles are all intact. They are brass color, but most likely metal. The cabinet has panel sides, an unfinished back and a panel top. Someone on the inside did away with the rods and they put simple plywood bottoms so there is a no slot in the center. It doesn’t do anything and they can be easily popped out if you desire. The overall size is 16 inches wide, 25 inches deep and 52 inches tall. The size of the drawers on the inside are 12 inches wide, 22 inches deep and the drawer face is 10 inches high. You can tell where someone screwed something on the top at one time. The cabinet does show the normal nicks and dings for being over 100 years old. This was most likely a Macy file cabinet, but there is no logo on it. This is an overall nice cabinet for your office.
