We are pleased to be offering today this very unusual original finish untouched oak four drawer file cabinet that retains all the original hardware. It is amazing that the name tags, handles and brass knobs are intact. The cabinet is finished all the way around and is all tiger sawn oak construction. There are a couple of stains on the top where people put things on top and there are some markings on the top drawer which can be seen in the photos. It has a nice original dark oak stain patina. This cabinet probably dates from the 1920s and the metal inside drawers that slide almost with one finger. It is an antique cabinet that was at the turn of the 1920s when they started using metal slides. The overall size is 15.5 inches wide, 27.5 inches deep and 52 inches tall. The inside of the drawers that have the sliders in place are 12 inches wide, 25 inches deep and the height of the drawer face is 10.5 inches wide.
