This antique oak four drawer file cabinet dates from the 1900's. I believe this was probably a Yawnee or a Shaw, but it is unmarked. This antique oak file cabinet features original time worn finish. I love the look of the aged patina, but it would also be beautiful if it was professionally refinished. We do refinish furniture in house for our customers, so if you are interested, please contact us for a quote. This antique oak file cabinet has all the hardware including the rods that are usually missing. It has panel sides and tiger sawn construction throughout, the original handles, and the index card holders are varied as they fall off lots of times. The overall size is 16 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 50 inches high. The drawers are a standard size being 12 inches wide, 9 7/8 inches high on the drawer face and 24 inches deep on the drawer. A lot of people will put hanging files inside the drawers. It is nice original with a beautiful worn patina. Shipping starts at $295 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
