We are pleased to be offering today this tiger sawn throughout claw foot writing desk dating from the 1890s in original condition. It has four drawers that are all dove tail with two or three of the drawers having minor chippage on the edges. Otherwise, the desk is in nice original condition in a medium oak stain. It has four cabriole legs ending in a wonderful detail claw foot. It has tiger sawn all the way around. It has rope braided molding on the ends of the side panels. It is a really nice-looking desk. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 28 inches deep and 29.5 inches high. The space where your legs go is 21 inches wide and 22 inches high from the floor. It is all tiger sawn oak that show minor nicks and dings. There is one round ink spot on the top that looks like part of the graining. It is about the size of a nickel. It has a bevel ogee edge on the round corner top, original brass hardware that is all intact. Shipping starts at $365 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
