This antique bookcase is constructed of oak, and dates from the 1890s. It’s a sweet little bookcase, and features an attractive gingerbread backsplash, two shapely framed glass doors, cut out scalloped base, barley twist posts that flank the glass doors, and two dovetail drawers that maintain their original hardware! There are locks, but no key. The finish on the top of this bookcase is quite worn, but it’s hard to see because of the height of the piece.
Measures 42” x 15” x 71” tall, features for shelves that measure 11 inches deep and are adjustable , and two drawers that measure 16 1/2” x 10” x 4” tall.
